This Privacy Policy describes the policies of Aicendence GmbH, Tegernseer Landstraße 18, Bavaria 81541, Germany, email: privacy@aicendence.com, on the collection, use and disclosure of your information that we collect when you use our website (https://www.speechineer.com) (the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you are consenting to the collection, use and disclosure of your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not consent to the same, please do not access or use the Service.

We may modify this Privacy Policy at any time without any prior notice to you and will post the revised Privacy Policy on the Service. The revised Policy will be effective 180 days from when the revised Policy is posted in the Service and your continued access or use of the Service after such time will constitute your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy. Web Analytics with Matomo (cookieless)

We use the web analytics service Matomo on this website. Matomo is hosted on our own servers (analytics.aicendence.com); no data is shared with third parties. Matomo is configured to use no cookies and to neither store nor read any information on your device. The following data is processed: truncated (anonymized) IP address, pages visited, interactions on the page (clicks on links and buttons, sections scrolled into view), date and time of access, browser and operating system, referring page, and approximate geographic location.

The legal basis for this processing is our legitimate interest in the statistical analysis and improvement of our service pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. As no cookies are set and no information is stored on your device, no consent is required. We respect your browser's "Do Not Track" setting.

You have the right to object to this processing at any time pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR. The collected data is not merged with other data sources and is not used to personally identify you. Analytics data is retained for 13 months.

The Speechineer Portal (account area)

If you hold an account for the Speechineer portal (the area behind the sign-in), we additionally process the data needed to provide the service you or your organisation contracted: your name and e-mail address, your organisation and role, sign-in and security events, the configuration you create in the portal (workspaces, forms, API keys), and usage records for metering and invoicing. Legal basis is the performance of the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and, for security logging, our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Sessions are kept with strictly necessary first-party cookies (see the Cookie Policy). Payments are processed by our payment service provider (Stripe); we do not store card details. Transactional e-mails (invitations, password resets, invoices) are sent through our e-mail delivery provider. Both act as processors under Art. 28 GDPR. Account data is deleted or anonymised when the account is closed, unless statutory retention periods (e.g. for invoices) require otherwise.

Security

The security of your information is important to us and we will use reasonable security measures to prevent the loss, misuse or unauthorized alteration of your information under our control. However, given the inherent risks, we cannot guarantee absolute security and consequently, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us and you do so at your own risk.

Third Party Links & Use Of Your Information

Our Service may contain links to other websites that are not operated by us. This Privacy Policy does not address the privacy policy and other practices of any third parties, including any third party operating any website or service that may be accessible via a link on the Service. We strongly advise you to review the privacy policy of every site you visit.
